On June 1, 2015 DAI Ceramics, Inc. was acquired by CeramTec GmbH
DAI has been working with a tooling source for the last few years that can supply rapid prototype machined aluminum core tooling that can stand up to our injection process.
DAI Ceramics is pleased to offer Rapid Prototype Ceramic Cores as a complement to our overall production core capabilities.
DAI Ceramics is pleased to offer Rapid Prototype Ceramic Cores as a complement to our overall production core capabilities. With our vendor they have been developing additive manufacturing techniques for ceramic core making applications for over four years. They can typically provide cores already assembled in the pattern for ease of use and mold assembly. With this ability we can offer our customers the opportunity to choose multiple core designs prior to cutting tools, perform casting metallurgical processes and present prototype cored castings to their customers in the shortest time possible. This can be a real advantage in the ability to bring a new design to market.
